After nearly 2 years and countless kms across Europe, it’s time to pass Otto on to his next adventure — and it’s not going to be easy.

This once painters van turned self-converted workhorse has taken us from one end of the UK to the other & back in rain and shine, through the strong winds of Greece and around the hairpin turns of the Slovenian Alps, and never once has he let us down. Despite a few cosmetic battle scars, he’s mechanically sound, well maintained and genuinely ready to go.

We’re currently still travelling with Otto until the end of August but are moving around Germany and happy to arrange viewings along the way.

Expected km at sale: ~307,000km

New TÜV, service and full presale report will be completed before handover.

Overall the engine, gearbox and clutch are all in good condition.

Underbody has very minimal surface rust and suspension is all in good condition.

Lots left on the brakes and tyres, AC and heated windscreen working.

⚙️ The Conversion

Fully insulated with 16mm Armaflex, earth wool and vapour barrier — we’ve slept comfortably below 0°C. The van runs on a solid off-grid electrical system and has a minimal, discreet “trade van” look with slim roof solar. We wild camped extensively across Europe without a single ticket or issue. All electrical has been tested and installed safely, I tightness check and inspect everything regularly, I’m more than happy to talk through the finer details over the phone.
