No. CarTurf UG is a registered German company with a physical office at Dieselstraße 28, 53424 Remagen. We're a licensed dealership. You retain the bill of sale and certificate of ownership. We're the Halter (registered holder), not the owner. The German DMV recognizes this legal separation. Check our TripAdvisor reviews (4.7/5) and Trustpilot reviews (4/5).

Yes. German plates are valid throughout the EU, EEA, and Schengen zone. You can also drive to the UK, Turkey, and Morocco. You must comply with each country's local rules for entry requirements and minimum insurance. The green card insurance document we provide proves coverage internationally.

You still own your car. You keep the bill of sale and certificate of ownership from the purchase. CarTurf is the Halter (custodian), not the owner. If we closed tomorrow, you would register the car elsewhere using your ownership documents. The transition is straightforward.

Autopilot: €99 per month (under €100,000), €199 (€100,000–€500,000), or €299 (up to €1,000,000) depending on vehicle value. Moto: €49 (Basic) or €79 (Plus) per month. One-time €249 setup. Insurance runs €700–3,000 per year depending on vehicle type and coverage. German vehicle tax is €150–300 per year. Compare that to long-term rental at $1,000+ per month with country restrictions.

Yes. CarTurf offers a vehicle selling service. Our sales team handles it. The commission is €500 plus 1% of the sales price. Or you can deregister the car and sell it yourself. To deregister, send us confirmation that the vehicle is registered in the new country, or photos of the three revealed codes from the plates and registration document.
