How our services work

Buying a car from another country usually means calling a dealership you have never met, in a language you may not speak, about a car you cannot see. That is the part we take over.

Every service starts with a first meeting with our team. After that we contact the dealership for you, ask about the car and tell you what we found. The paid checks add a VIN history report, a look at the maintenance history and help with the purchase. If you have not found a car yet, our Vehicle Sourcing Service spearheads the complete search for you. This is separate from auction sourcing. Prefer to buy a car from us? Customers contract with CarTurf Global FZCO (Dubai). Our German partner CarTurf UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Remagen is the registered Halter when we register your car.

Price, what is included and who each service is for.

Optional price negotiation

Any customer can book our optional price negotiation, with or without another CarTurf service. If we get the price down, our fee is 50% of the amount taken off. Example: we lower the price by €1,000, you save €500 and pay us €500. If nothing is saved, there is no negotiation fee. Read more in our guide to negotiating a used car price in Germany.

Yes, for members, meaning customers on a paid CarTurf plan. Members get one free listing check: we call the dealership about one car you are interested in, free of charge. Explorers (free account) are not members.

Both follow the same process with VIN check: we verify the listing, do due diligence, call the dealer, check for discrepancies, check the dealer’s reviews, run a VIN check with vehicle history, verify the maintenance history and help with the purchase. The Single Vehicle Check is €50 for one car. The bundle covers three cars for €100, which saves €50.

Yes. With the Vehicle Sourcing Service (€299 per search) we spearhead the complete search: we search the market and send you 10–15 listings. You choose your top 5 and we contact all 5 dealerships. One VIN check for your most preferred vehicle is included; each additional VIN check is €20.

Negotiation is optional and open to any customer. If we get the price down, our fee is 50% of the amount taken off. If we lower the price by €1,000, you save €500 and pay us €500. If nothing is saved, there is no fee.

No. With the Vehicle Sourcing Service (€299) we spearhead the complete search for you. Getting access to dealer-only auctions is different: auction sourcing is a separate service at €750 + 4% of the net vehicle price, listed on our pricing page. See also our guide to German car auctions.
